What we check and install

Switchboard and supply check

We check your switchboard, main cable and whether you have single- or three-phase power before recommending a charger.

A charger to suit your car

We recommend a wall charger that suits your vehicle, your supply and where you park.

Charge from your solar

Some chargers can use surplus solar automatically. We'll tell you whether that works with your inverter.

Licensed installation

Installed on a dedicated circuit by licensed electricians, with the electrical safety certification required in your state.

Workplace and multi-user

Chargers for staff, fleet or visitor parking, including load management where several chargers share one supply.

Works alongside a battery

If you have, or plan to add, a home battery, we'll set up charging to fit around how your battery is used.

How it works

Getting a charger installed

  1. 1

Tell us about your car and property

Your vehicle, where you park and a photo of your switchboard help us quote accurately.

  2. 2

    Check and quote

We confirm your supply and switchboard, then send an itemised quote. Any switchboard work is listed separately.

  3. 3

    Installation

Licensed electricians install the charger on its own circuit and test it.

  4. 4

    Set-up and handover

We connect the charger app, set up scheduling or solar charging where supported, and show you how it works.

Incentives

Are there EV charger incentives?

EV charger incentives are limited and vary by state and territory. For example, the ACT Sustainable Household Scheme offers low-interest loans that can include EV chargers, subject to eligibility. Check the official list for what's available where you live.

Common questions

Do I need three-phase power?

No. Most home chargers run on single-phase power. Three-phase can allow faster charging if your car supports it. We'll check your supply and explain the options.

Can I just use a normal power point?

Many EVs come with a portable cable for a standard power point, which charges slowly. A wall charger on its own circuit charges faster and is designed for regular use.

Will I need a switchboard upgrade?

Sometimes, depending on the age and capacity of your switchboard and supply. If it's needed, it's listed separately on your quote.

Can I charge only from solar?

Some chargers can follow your solar output. How much you can charge from solar depends on the weather, your system size, when the car is home and whether your charger and inverter work together.

Is the quote free? Is there any obligation?

Requesting a quote is free and there's no obligation to buy.

Which areas do you service?

Our head office is in Ellenbrook, WA. Enter your postcode in the quote form and we'll confirm whether we can help at your address.
